Chapter 64E-8 deals with New Private and Multi-family Water System Construction. All potable wells serving either private residences or those wells serving multi-family (duplex or other) must be permitted and inspected. Included under this heading are the forms, applications and requirements for applying for and receiving a permit to construct one of these wells. It further defines what is required in that process, the necessary water samples required before the well can be put into service, and what can be done to assure that the water received from the well is safe for consumption by the residents using said water source.
