Septic Drainfield Repair

Q: I need to have my septic drainfield repaired, what do I need to do?

A: You must first apply for a septic repair permit. This is done by coming into the Environmental Health Office to fill out a repair application. You must supply:

• a copy of a pump out receipt stating the size and integrity of the septic tank.
• a site plan showing where the septic tank and drainfield are located.
• the property (tax) ID number.
• the size of the lot.
• the last 12 months water use records.

A fee is due at the time the application is submitted. Please check with our office for the latest fees.
