Q: I'm thinking about buying a piece of property. How do I get a perc test?
A: You may apply at the Environmental Health office in your geographical
area for a "preliminary."
Do the following:
- Fill out an application.
- Submit a site plan indicating the septic system location.
- Pay a fee - check with our office for the latest fees.
The Environmental Health office will send an employee to visit the property to perform soil borings.
