Chuck Luther is the Environmental Administrator for the Volusia County Health Department. Chuck has worked at VCHD since 1981 and worked in many different positions and in all areas of Environmental Health programs. He is past President of the Florida Environmental Health Association. He is a Registered Sanitarian and Certified Environmental Health Professional. As the E.A., he oversees a staff of 58 who are responsible for protecting the public in Volusia County from diseases of environmental origin.

Programs that environmental health staff are responsible for include drinking water, food hygiene, wastewater and public pools, to name a few.

Chuck's hobbies include riding his bicycle, kayaking, and riding his motorcycle.
