Tobacco Free Partnership
Partnership between One Voice for Volusia and the Tobacco Free Partnership/Healthy Volusia
The Tobacco Free Partnership has reconvened in Volusia County and will function as a sub-committee
of the One Voice for Volusia coalition and an advisory body to the Volusia County Health Department.
Current Healthy Volusia members have be invited to join the Tobacco Free Partnership.
Goals of the Tobacco Free Partnership
Goal 1: Promote cessation from tobacco use
Goal 2: Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
Goal 3: Prevent the initiation of tobacco use
Goal 4: Build and maintain an effective TCP infrastructure
Percentage of Volusia County Adults Who Currently Smoke, Source: Florida CHARTS
;Age 18-44 = 27.1%; Age 45-64 = 28.6%; Age 65+ = 10.8%
 Percentage of Volusia County Middle & High School
Students Using Tobacco in the Last 30-days; Source: Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey; Cigarettes = 9.8%; Smokeless Tobacco = 4.1%
